près d’elle | cosette & éponine
(a sun that comes to light my world)
It starts innocently. Small smiles are passed between them in public. Love letters are sent in the dark of night. Éponine steals flowers from the Jardin du Luxembourg and sends them to Cosette’s door, anonymously.
Slowly, it grew. As matters of the heart tend to do. They met in the cover of night, whispering fair words and sharing kisses in the moonlight. Cosette was the sun. She brought warmth into Éponine’s life, shined a light in the dark.
And Éponine would risk anything to keep that light.
